The ad:tech conference in New York

Every year, the world sees an immense number of conferences dedicated to Internet advertising and digital marketing, but only a few of them can boast the large scale and considerable influence. The ad:tech conference is just one of such events. It is the ground for large companies and notable representatives of Internet marketing and media to discuss new ideas and demonstrate positive examples and advanced experience in the field of interactive marketing. The conference was held on November 5-6, 2014 in the city of New York.

This time ad:tech was marked by participation of such giants as Coca-Cola, Google, Ford Motor Company, Nestle, Facebook, Walmart and many other large players. It is difficult to overestimate the experience, influence and ideas aired at this event. Some reports by its level and quality of presentation could equal to the famous Apple presentations. There were also many interesting things to see in the stands, where both well-known and reputable brands exhibited next to startups promoting innovation ideas and their own advertising platforms.

In the two days of the conference, an immense number of reports were heard. The most excitement was sparked by the speeches of Mick Ebeling from Not Impossible Labs, Brian Monahan from Walmart, Alan Cohen from Giant Spoon and Ken Todd from Showtime Networks Inc. The conference covered a variety of issues, from female programmers to the role of Facebook in interactive marketing.

Such events give us a good opportunity to learn from the most successful business people. Evoplay will try active application of the knowledge it has acquired at the conference for implementation of its own business goals. We can state with certainty that it was by no means our last visit to ad:tech.
